Book of Remembrance
Our tradition teaches us to honor the memories of our departed loved ones during the Yizkor services on the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur. With love and devotion to the fond and sacred memories of our loved ones, Central Synagogue embraces this tradition for our extended virtual community by presenting the Book of Remembrance.
The submission deadline has passed.
This year, we will memorialize those whom we lovingly remember in a beautifully designed digital booklet. For those who submitted names using our form, you will receive an email on the morning of Wednesday, October 9, 2024, with a link to the Book of Remembrance. Additionally, you can scan the easy-to-use QR code that will appear on-screen during our Yizkor service on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Thank you for honoring the memories of your loved ones with us.
To the departed...
The departed whom we now remember have entered into the peace of life eternal. They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed and in the hearts and lives of those who cherish their memory. May the beauty of their lives abide among us as an everlasting blessing. May the Source of Peace send peace to all who mourn and comfort all the bereaved among us.
May God console you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
