Memory Book

According to congregational tradition, our members have the opportunity to inscribe the names of beloved family members in the Memory Book of Central Synagogue. This book is a tangible acknowledgement of our love for those who have passed away but have not been forgotten.

This year, we will distribute a printed version of the book at Yom Kippur services, and members can find a digital version of the book in their email.

If you have any questions about this year’s Memory Book, please email membership@censyn.org or call (212) 508-3084.

To the departed...

The departed whom we now remember have entered into the peace of life eternal. They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed and in the hearts and lives of those who cherish their memory. May the beauty of their lives abide among us as an everlasting blessing. May the Source of Peace send peace to all who mourn and comfort all the bereaved among us.

May God console you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
