A High Holy Days Season Like No Other
The word “unprecedented” has been used a lot over the past few months. But it’s no exaggeration to say that this year’s High Holy Days celebrations will be like none other that have ever come before. See below for a few of the exciting initiatives currently underway at Central Synagogue this year, and check back for ongoing updates.
Look Back at Special High Holy Day Moments
From music and dance, to moving prayers and special guest appearances, there were many unique and memorable moments during this year's High Holy Days. A collection is available here.
An Afternoon of Learning
On Yom Kippur, Central members were invited to join small-group learning sessions with rabbis, artists, and teachers, including, among others, a theatrical reading focusing on the experiences of Jews of Color, and a discussion with the URJ's Rabbi Rick Jacobs. Recordings of the sessions are now available for those who were not able to attend.
A Fun Post-High Holy Days Gift
Just in time for Sukkot and Simchat Torah, we are happy to share with you a few images with some Central Synagogue and Jewish themes. We hope you'll consider adding as your virtual background for your next get together with Central friends.
Replays of High Holy Day Services and Sermons
Did you miss any of our High Holy Days services? Wish you could listen (again) to a particular sermon? You can still watch, at the time of your choosing. To view replays of services, visit our Livestream page and click on the triangle button to view. Visit our Sermons page to listen, watch and/or read the texts.
